DRAFT : Libre house automation software. //not final name, ideas welcomed.

Presentation
This project aims at developing a libre building automation application. Libre is for freedom, to use, to hack into, to reproduce and distribute. This means free, and open source.
Many proprietary systems already provide such systems, but obviously they're not inter-operable, they don't allows programmers to build their own module, and they're overpriced. The aim of the project is to build a common basis for a community of already existing programmers and hackers of all kind, so as to unify the myriad of small systems and device drivers, and provide the base tools for building and managing house related software.

Development
The project will be made up of a modular server, of one or several GUIs, and the associated programs and drivers to control various end devices.
